TELL CONGRESS: DEFEND OUR CLIMATE FROM POLLUTER-PUSHED ROLLBACKS

 

Backed by Big Oil and other corporate polluters, lawmakers are preparing to use
the Congressional Review Act (CRA) and policy riders in government funding bills
to attempt to overturn critical environmental safeguards that protect our health
and climate from harmful pollution.

 

Unlike other pieces of legislation, CRA votes can pass through Congress with a
simple majority vote in both chambers, which means that there’s a real threat
that these rollbacks could become law. And government funding runs out at the
end of September, so members are under pressure to approve a bill. We’re calling
on LCV members like you to tell Congress to vote NO on corporate polluters’
dirty agenda.
