With less than two months until the election, there has been a lot of talk about the presidential election and its impact on the future of our democracy. Well, what often gets lost in all that noise is the fact that control of Congress will also make a huge difference in whether this country pursues an authoritarian or a pro-democracy direction over the next four years. As such, it is absolutely critical that we help get pro-democracy candidates in tight races across the finish line in November. 

To that end, this Sunday at 3:00 p.m. PDT, and every Sunday until the election, our friends at the California Democratic Party are hosting a phone bank for the pro-democracy candidate, Adam Gray, in California’s District 13.

No previous phone banking experience is necessary, as participants will receive training beforehand, and there will be coaches available throughout to help answer any questions that come up. All you need to bring is a laptop or phone, and a willingness to engage with your fellow pro-democracy voters and ask them what truly matters to them in this election. This toss-up race is considered one of the most critical in the fight to flip The House, and it could well make the difference between democracy and autocracy in this country come November. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get up, get pumped, and get to work to save our country!
