On September 21 — World Alzheimer's Day — the world will unite in support of all our loved ones impacted by Alzheimer's disease and rally behind the amazing work being done to eliminate dementia of any kind.
There are so many reasons to support this fight — and research is one of the most crucial and promising areas that needs your support. This past July, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration approved another treatment that can meaningfully change the course of the disease for some people living with early Alzheimer's.
These current treatments give many people hope for more time to plan for the future and lead more independent lives. But these treatments are not the answer for everyone. They are not cures. Until we find that cure, we won't rest until everyone living with dementia of any kind — at any stage — can get the treatment, care and support they need and deserve.
We must keep this momentum going. We must push more promising research toward a cure. We must continue to deliver quality care and support for everyone who needs it. With less than one week left in our World Alzheimer's Day 2X Match Challenge, time is running out on your chance to make a gift that can go 2X as far in our fight.
Don't wait until World Alzheimer's Day. Make your first gift now while it can deliver 2X the help and hope:
Thank you for uniting with us — and the world — in recognition of this special day to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
