Hurricane Francine
I hope that everyone has stayed safe during the recent landfall of Hurricane Francine. I wanted to share a resource with you if you have had any storm damage. Be sure to fill out the form here on the MEMA website. Reach out to my office if we can be of assistance.
Remembering 9/11
May we never forget the attack on our nation on September 11, 2001. The attack killed nearly 3,000 Americans including many firefighters and law enforcement officers who lost their lives trying to save their fellow Americans. May our heroes who lost their lives that day rest in peace.
Combatting Communist China
Back in Washington, D.C.
This week, I met with members of the Mississippi Bankers Association. I appreciate the MBA sharing their thoughts on how current federal policy affects the banking industry and sharing their input on pending legislation.
I also met with officials from the Mississippi School Board Association this week. We spoke of the great work they are doing to raise test scores across our state. I am thankful for all that our teachers and administrators do to educate the next generation of Mississippians.
Poll Results from Last Week
Last week, I asked you if you think only American citizens should be voting in our federal elections, and 98% of you agreed. Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X to stay up-to-date on my work serving you.
