Add your name to tell Congress to stop foreign interference in our elections!

“Russia interfered in U.S. elections in 2016 — and the Senate Intelligence Committee confirmed that with their recent bipartisan report. Our country cannot afford to stand idly by while adversaries attack our democracy. Congress must stop foreign interference and implement bipartisan measures that will protect our political system and ensure our 2020 elections are secure.”

John,

The Senate Intelligence Committee unanimously confirmed late last month in a hard-hitting report that Russia unquestioningly interfered in the 2016 elections.

That may seem like old news — but Russia is still at it. The fact is, foreign adversaries aren’t done messing with our elections, and we need to be better prepared, especially in light of the current COVID-19 crisis.

While Congress is appropriately focused on protecting our nation’s economic and public health, it is also important for members of Congress to take bipartisan action to protect our elections now.

Tell Congress to stop foreign interference in our elections and bolster our election security!

Our “Don’t Mess With US” project supports five bipartisan election security measures that would protect our democracy and keep bad actors out of our elections. One key piece of legislation: The Honest Ads Act — the best first step to stopping hidden, foreign disinformation campaigns in our elections by implementing a disclosure system for paid, online political advertising.

Now, we just need to adopt these measures. Add your name to tell Congress to act now and protect our elections.

Thanks for all you do,
