We knew when the Supreme Court overturned Roe that Republicans weren’t going to stop at banning abortion.
We were right. Just take a look at two recent headlines about states where the GOP has successfully instituted bans:
- The New York Times, 9/6/24
- The Washington Post, 9/9/24
It’s clear that Republicans will not stop going to more and more extreme measures to restrict reproductive health care. We need national action to protect our rights.

It isn’t just Texas and Florida. Even right here in Wisconsin, where a judge ruled against a pre-Civil War law banning abortion after Kristin fought back, the GOP is still seeking to restrict reproductive health care.
