I'm reaching out to see if you could chip in $5 to my husband's campaign to defeat Ted Cruz, just $1 for each of the five reasons below.

1. Colin is statistically TIED with Ted Cruz in FIVE polls, meaning this is our best chance yet to win in Texas (and remember, Ted barely won in 2018).

2. My husband will be the 51st vote to stop Republicans from inflicting their harmful agenda on Texas – from voting against a national abortion ban, to defending the Affordable Care Act, to protecting our right to vote.

3. If we win in Texas, Democrats are virtually guaranteed to hold the Senate!

4. But Cruz's campaign, the NRSC, and a right-wing super PAC just reserved $13 MILLION in attack ads to smear Colin to stop the momentum this grassroots movement has built.

5. We have a mid-month fundraising deadline coming up on Sunday, and hitting this goal is crucial to staying on track ahead of Colin's FINAL end-of-quarter deadline before Election Day.
