John, this cycle I'm facing the exact same opponent I narrowly beat two years ago in the race for OR-06: Mike Erickson.

And by narrowly, I mean we won this race with 50.1% of the vote. So about as close as it gets!

This time around, Erickson has even more MAGA super PAC money on his side, and we need to fight back — because taking back the U.S. House has never been more important. Can we count on you to split a donation between EMILYs List and our campaign today?

Here are three things you need to know about anti-choice extremist Mike Erickson:

1. He wants to ban abortion in all 50 states, including Oregon, without exceptions for rape or incest. He has repeatedly attacked Oregon's law protecting abortion rights — a law that I'm proud to have helped pass! — and in Congress, he would be yet another vote in favor of the House GOP's plan to ban abortion nationwide.


2. Erickson said Donald Trump's actions during his presidency "were great for this country." That tells you a lot about the direction Erickson would take if given a leadership position.


3. Erickson has millions to spend on his campaign. In 2022, he poured millions of dollars into OR-06 to flood this district with ads attacking our campaign, and he is poised to do the exact same thing again. And this time, the NRCC has already reserved $6 million in TV air time in our media market this fall — a staggering amount of money.

Winning this race will be difficult, but if we all put in the work, we can get this done — and the stakes are simply too high to let the GOP flip this district.
