Taxpayers like you are winning the fight against the carbon tax.

But they need you to join the fight.

Tens of thousands of Canadian Taxpayers Federation supporters have been sending emails and calling politicians with one simple message: scrap the carbon tax.

And their efforts are paying off. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh just signalled the NDP will oppose Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s carbon tax.

Here’s what Singh said when asked about his stance on the carbon tax:

“We want to see an approach to fighting the climate crisis where it doesn’t put the burden on the backs of working people.”

Right now, taxpayers who signed the petition are emailing Singh to say words aren’t enough – he needs to take action to scrap the carbon tax. Those taxpayers are doing their part to push him and they need your help.

The best part is that taxpayers are winning the fight against the carbon tax. But it isn’t over. And they need you to come off the bench to push this over the finish line.

Your government’s carbon tax is an unfair hit to Canadian families, businesses and rural communities.

The carbon tax increases the price of fuel, food and clothing, and will mean lost jobs and bankrupt businesses.

The carbon tax will hit Canadians particularly hard, where driving is a necessity.

Our economy is fragile and the last thing it needs is to pay more tax.
