Before Abraham Lincoln became president – and even before his run for U.S. Senate – he honed his arguments against slavery through handwritten notes. The Freedom Matters special exhibit now features one of the most powerful of these notes, called syllogisms, wherein Lincoln logically disassembles arguments supporting slavery.
