In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a donation directly to Sherrod Brown's campaign for U.S. Senate in Ohio. But first, you deserve to know why this request is so important.

Here's the truth:

There is no holding on to the Senate for Democrats if Sherrod Brown loses this race. Period.

Republicans know that as well. That is why right-wing outside groups are badly outspending Democrats in Ohio. Sherrod is getting absolutely hammered with negative ad after negative ad and we are pretty much in last-ditch mode to help him fight back.

Sherrod raises most of his money from individual, small-dollar donations. And he reached out to ask if we could help. Given the importance of this race I said yes.

That's why I am asking:

Can you please rush a contribution to Sherrod Brown's campaign for Senate? The amount of the donation isn't even as important as just making one of any amount. It will all add up fast when lots and lots of people are chipping-in.
