Do you avoid walking under ladders? Always knock on wood? Walk the other way when a black cat crosses in front of you? We get it. We take precautions when it comes to superstitions, too. We don’t think these actions are irrational — they give us some sense of control when it doesn’t feel like we have very much. And look, it may seem like as individuals, we don’t have much control over this election in November. But this Friday the 13th, we’re here to say that when we come together, we make our own luck, and this team’s support will collectively make a difference in the down-ballot races we’re supporting. It will take a bit more than crossing your fingers or hanging a lucky horseshoe, but making your first contribution right now will go a long way towards electing leaders who will hold the line against map manipulation, MAGA Republicans, and Project 2025 policies.
The upcoming elections are too important to rely on any type of luck. The only option is to outwork our map-manipulating opponents. What’s at stake is too important. Will you join us with your first contribution right now? (With all that said, maybe until November, just hang onto any four leaf clovers you find?! Can’t hurt.) Thank you,
