Woah, John — Did you see that the Cook Political Report just came out with their latest U.S. House ratings?

Cook Political Report is one of the most trusted election forecasters in the country. The media, pundits, and even *Republicans* turn to them as the authority on what races are the true tossups across the nation.

And now Cook Political is confirming what other forecasters have said: There are more currently-red tossup seats in California than any other state in the nation — and it isn’t particularly close.

That’s why we’re aiming to raise another $15,000 before midnight tonight to bolster our critical Swing State Fund. Every dollar raised will go to deploying more resources in CA-12, CA-22, CA-27, CA-41, CA-45 and other U.S. House seats that will determine control of the House of Representatives this November. Here’s more good news from the Cook Political Report, John: They upgraded the rating on one of our target races in California — CA-45. Previously, they were saying this seat was “Lean Republican” but now, they are saying it is a true “Tossup.”
