Sarah Henry is running for the Florida House of Representatives, District 38.

Her opponent, Representative David Smith, supports a TOTAL abortion ban AND has an A rating from the NRA. Sarah ran against him in 2022 and came within a 4% margin of flipping the seat – despite depressed Democratic turnout in the state that year. It’s time to help her finish the job.

From a young age, Sarah has always been a pro-choice champion. As a high-schooler, she volunteered as a clinic escort at EMW Women’s Surgical Clinic. These clinics are constantly under attack by anti-choice protestors, and, as a young woman standing on the property line, she became a target of these aggressors, with her name and photo posted on their websites.

Now, when she is elected as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, she is committed to the same pursuit of comprehensive, accessible, and safe reproductive healthcare for all people.
Here is where she stands on other critical issues:

✅ She will work to fully fund Florida’s public schools, ensuring that students have equitable access to an innovative, 21st-century education.

✅ She will fight to uphold the legislation passed in the wake of the tragic Parkland shooting, including red flag laws, keeping assault weapons away from teenagers, and comprehensive background checks.

✅ Amid a housing crisis, Sarah will advocate for young families and graduates who are working to establish themselves.
