John, it's Friday the 13th, and before we ask you to chip in $13 toward Robert Peters' campaign, we're giving you three reasons the 13th District is lucky to have him serving us in the IL Senate!

Let's dive right in:

1️⃣ He's a lifelong Chicago resident who cares about his community. Born and raised in Hyde Park, Sen. Peters has always been dedicated to public service and community organizing to make his home a better place for everyone.

2️⃣ He's passionate about criminal justice reform and uplifting working families. Even before stepping foot into Springfield, he was a champion for fairness, honesty, and compassion in our criminal justice system. And just last year, we were all beyond proud to see the Illinois Supreme Court uphold his bill to make Illinois the first state in the country to eliminate cash bail. This year alone, he's also made huge strides in standing up for workers' rights, health and safety!

3️⃣ He's running a people-focused, people-funded campaign to continue advocating for our biggest issues. Sen. Peters is a huge believer in holding himself accountable to our residents, not big businesses or special interest groups.

And as grateful as we are for all the work Sen. Peters has put in to make the 13th District a better place, ensuring that he can continue to serve us in Springfield is going to take more than a four-leaf clover and a rabbit's foot.

Securing the resources we need to share the work he's done so far, and the work he's planning to do, with voters is going to take a strong coalition of grassroots supporters, John — will you join our team with a donation of any amount you can spare?

Thank you,
Team Peters
