It’s Friday the 13th—a spooky day by all accounts.  But there’s a day that frightens us even more, and that’s November 6—if we don’t do all that we can to help win the critical elections the day before. 

We don’t want to wake up on November 6 with regrets or wishing we had done things differently.  Instead, we have to do those things now. 

And there are so many things we can do.  One of them is contributing to our campaign.  Your contributions of time and money fuel everything we have to do between now and Election Day—like knocking on doors, making phone calls, and distributing yard signs.  And not just for Lizzie’s race, but for other Texas Democrats up and down the ballot.

Every day we’re reminded of the stakes of this election.  We simply have to defend this seat, win back the House, keep the Senate, and elect Vice President Harris the next President of the United States.

We know from experience that we can make those victories happen but only if we all show up in every way we can.  That’s why your response to these emails and your generous contributions are so meaningful.  Your support makes everything our team does between now and Election Day possible.

We must vote—and organize—this year with an understanding of the urgency and the stakes.  #TeamLizzie will keep working every day from now through November 5 to make sure we elect the leaders we need in places we need them, because we don’t want to wake up the next day with any regrets.
