Help Us Collect 1,000 UMCOR Kits in September
September is National Disaster Preparedness Month. With natural disasters on the rise and hurricane season off to a strong start, the we've set a goal of building 500 UMCOR hygiene kits and 500 UMCOR cleaning kits by the end of the month.
Cleaning kits, or flood buckets, provide essential clean-up supplies to people who have experienced a natural disaster. Hygiene kits provide basic necessities to those who are most vulnerable during times of crisis. Hygiene Kits are distributed during disasters, whether socio-economic or as the result of a natural occurrence. Deploying kits is just one way Missouri United Methodists show up and serve when it matters most.
Getting involved is easy: We're asking you to commit in September, but you can build any time this fall. Please do not buy supplies. We are planning to bulk order supplies at a reduced rate and will distribute them. [link removed] Learn more →
