DHS Designates Jan. 6, 2025, Electoral Vote Counting as 'National Security Event' to Prevent Protests

The Biden-Harris administration's Department of Homeland Security has designated the January 6, 2025, electoral vote counting as a "National Special Security Event," placing it under heightened security measures.

This designation empowers the Secret Service to lead security efforts and coordinate with local authorities, similar to the protection provided at major events like the Super Bowl or the U.N. General Assembly.

The move is being sold as an attempt to prevent a repeat of the January 6 protest at the U.S. Capital building.

Critics argue that the designation is a clear attempt to criminalize election protests and stifle political dissent during the certification process.

Gavin Newsom's Wife's Family Hosts Trump Fundraiser in California

California Governor Gavin Newsom’s wife’s relatives, Tom and Stacey Siebel, are hosting a fundraiser for Donald Trump in the Bay Area despite Newsom’s vocal criticism of former President Donald Trump.

Tom Siebel, a billionaire software developer and CEO of C3.ai, has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Trump’s 2024 campaign and related PACs.

The fundraiser is expected to attract high-profile attendees, with ticket prices ranging from $3,300 to $250,000 per person.

This development highlights an interesting political dynamic, as Newsom actively campaigns for the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, while his relatives support Trump.

Idiot Joe Scarborough Says ABC Moderators Broke Debate Rules to Help Trump

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough criticized ABC debate moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis for allegedly allowing Donald Trump to break the rules during his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris by speaking out of turn and receiving more time than Kamala Harris.

Scarborough expressed frustration over Trump being allowed to interject and make remarks without consequence, claiming it gave Trump an advantage in the debate.

Trump, on the other hand, accused the moderators of bias, stating that they fact-checked him more than Harris, even though she also made false claims during the debate.

The moderators did not correct Harris on her false statements about Trump’s policies, including his alleged stance on in vitro fertilization (IVF) and abortion bans.

Debate Commission Co-Chair Slams ABC Moderators for Favoring Harris and Mishandling Trump

Frank J. Fahrenkopf Jr., Co-Chair of the Commission on Presidential Debates, criticized the moderators of the recent Harris-Trump debate, calling their performance "the worst" he had seen in over 30 years.

Fahrenkopf stated that the ABC moderators, David Muir and Linsey Davis, "bent backwards to help" Vice President Kamala Harris while treating former President Donald Trump unfairly.

He emphasized that moderators are supposed to facilitate debates, not engage in them or correct candidates, which he felt the moderators overstepped.

Fahrenkopf’s comments add to the criticism of the debate's moderation, raising concerns about bias and fairness in the process.

Poll: Majority of Voters Hold Kamala Responsible for Record Illegal Immigration

A New York Times/Siena College poll reveals that 63% of likely voters blame Vice President Kamala Harris for record levels of illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border over the past three and a half years.

Harris was assigned to oversee immigration issues in April 2021 but has since distanced herself from the role, with many still holding her accountable for the ongoing border crisis.

The poll shows that 63 percent of swing voters blame Harris, and former President Donald Trump is favored over Harris on immigration by a margin of 53 to 43 percent.

The poll surveyed 1,700 likely voters, and the results reflect growing dissatisfaction with Harris’ handling of immigration, particularly among non-college-educated and swing voters.

Trump Gets Boost from Independents and Black Voters in Michigan After Debate

A new Insider Advantage poll shows former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris by 1 point in Michigan, with 49 percent of likely voters supporting Trump and 48 percent backing Harris.

Among independent voters, Trump holds a five-point advantage over Harris, though the debate did not significantly change undecided voters' preferences.

The poll also highlights that 20 percent of Black voters in Michigan support Trump, which may reflect a broader national trend seen in other recent polls.

Marianne Williamson to Dems: Voodoo is Real. Don’t Dismiss Claims of Cat-Eating

Marianne Williamson warned that dismissing the narrative of Haitian migrants allegedly eating pets in Springfield, Ohio, could harm Democrats in the upcoming election.

She argued that Democrats’ elitist attitudes in disregarding voters' concerns would reinforce negative stereotypes and alienate voters.
Williamson emphasized that “Haitian voodoo is real” and that the issue, whether true or not, has a significant impact on local communities, which Democrats should not ignore.

Although the pet-eating claims have not been confirmed by law enforcement, the story has gained traction on social media and been used in political discourse by both sides.

White House Photographers Association Slams Harris-Walz Campaign for Restricting Press Access

The White House News Photographers Association (WHNPA) criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign for limiting press access.
The WHNPA president, Jessica Koscielniak, sent a letter expressing concerns over the lack of media access, stating that it disadvantages photographers and affects the coverage of Harris’s campaign.

Harris’s office responded, saying that logistical challenges and limited resources made expanding press access unfeasible, leading to frustration within the media community.

Harris has faced ongoing criticism for her limited engagement with the press since launching her presidential campaign, with fewer unscripted moments and interviews compared to her competitors.

What’s Next

Former President Donald Trump says he won’t participate in another presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris.

And why should he?

This week’s debate was a farce. The moderators did nothing short of run interference for Kamala.

They fact-checked, interrupted, and tone-policed Trump while letting Kamala get off scot-free with blatant lies and ridiculous inconsistencies.

But, as we’re all aware, this is not unique to debates. This is about the media constantly working against the American people while trying to shove its worldview down their throats.

Recall Trump’s recent participation on a panel at the National Association of Black Journalists convention. No matter where Trump goes, members of the media ambush him with bad-faith attacks.

So why engage with them? What does Trump have to gain by talking to the media? Nothing.

Good for Trump on refusing to debate. It’s not like the media would treat him fairly anyway.
