Urgent news! An exclusive opportunity to double your impact is here.
Dear Friend,
World Alzheimer's Day is just over a week away. To mark this global effort to raise awareness and challenge the stigma around Alzheimer's disease, we'll be sharing seven reasons over the next several days to show you why your support is so crucially needed — from research projects and care and support to advocacy, education and awareness efforts.
But today, I want to share one reason that rises above all — nearly 7 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer's disease. They need your help. While we look ahead to World Alzheimer's Day, I urge you to act right now.
That's why I'd like to announce our special World Alzheimer's Day 2X Match Challenge. This special match challenge is made possible by a generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous, and who has pledged to match every donation we receive by September 21 — up to $175,000 — and dedicate their gift to supporting research and local chapter events. But we need to raise that same amount by the deadline.
Your first gift today can go 2X as far to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. And it's never been needed more.
Thank you for your commitment. I'm so grateful to have you as a part of our community, and I hope you'll keep an eye out as we continue to highlight reasons to give this World Alzheimer's Day.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
