Goose Fair is back this autumn

There's an autumnal chill in the air, which means it's nearly time for the return of Goose Fair!
New rides this year include the Hulk - XL Super Trooper, Aerospace, and Equinox, plus lots of returning favourites such as Atmosfear, Matterhorn, Starflyer, Magic Mouse, Waltzers, Gallopers, and the Cake Walk. Don't forget to sample the mushy peas and the famous Goose Fair delicacy, Cock-on-a-Stick!
For the first time, this year's fair will offer SEND sessions on Sundays from 12pm-1pm, giving a quieter and more relaxed experience for children and people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Money-off ride vouchers are now available to download from just £1, allowing you to save 50p on participating rides and attractions from Monday to Friday (not valid on Saturday or Sunday). Vouchers can also be found in special editions of the Nottingham Post, Derby Telegraph and other regional newspapers soon.
Tonight: Nottingham Shine Night Walk

There's still time to sign up for the Shine Night Walk and fundraise for a type of cancer research that is closest to your heart. Raise crucial funds with every step, from the National Justice Museum to Nottingham Castle. Starting and finishing at Old Market Square, the route will take you across the Rainbow Road, over Wilford Suspension Bridge and past the Robin Hood Statue.
People of all abilities can take part. The 10k walk will take between 1.5 to 3 hours to complete, with varying start times from 7pm.
Gandeys Circus - Hollywood Spectacular

Party at the Bandstand

Nonsuch Studios hosts a free music and arts event at the Victoria Embankment Bandstand tomorrow, celebrating over 80 years of local history. A variety of local bands and performance groups will take to the stage, including Carlton Brass Band, Swing Dance Social, Gaffa, and Sancho Panza.
Alongside the music will be a range of arts and craft activities for children and families, plus a live mural painting. Attendees are invited to bring their own picnics and dust off their deck chairs for the free event that runs from 12pm-7pm.
Sound at Central: Niche Artefact

Sound at Central is once again in partnership with Niche Artefact for a night of incredible music, performance, and entertainment at Nottingham Central Library.
The Dystopia exhibit will showcase a host of fantastic LGBTQIA+ creatives and local artists, with a red carpet entrance and prosecco reception on arrival. You will be able to mingle with all the live performers and local artists who will be revealing one of a kind, never before seen pieces of artwork, and enjoy a varied evening of entertainment.

Kite Azaadi Festival
