Folks,
Take a look at these powerful words from some of my heroes:
‘I’ll never hesitate in providing whatever help or support I can give.’ - Dr. Hazem Ali Nusairat, Zaatari refugee camp
‘I guess the best part is that your perspective about life changes. In response to COVID-19, the most gratifying part is to work as a team to serve humanity.’ - Dr. Mahmudul Hossain, Cox’s Bazar refugee camp
Dr. Hazem and Dr. Mahmudul are two of the 21,000 IRC health workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
IRC health workers operate in the world's toughest conditions and most fragile countries. For them, a message of thanks from a supporter brings an instant smile. (I've seen it!) It's a special moment out of their day where they feel the support and appreciation from this entire community. A thank you message is a small, but powerful way we can support their lifesaving work.
Send a quick note today to join me in thanking all IRC health workers for their efforts in crisis zones worldwide. We'll make sure it reaches them this week!

Here are just a few of the ways health workers are helping communities fight COVID-19:
Conducting information sessions to demonstrate best practices in hygiene, handwashing, communicating symptoms, when to see a doctor and when to self-isolate.
Distributing health and hygiene kits for families at higher risk.
Providing mental health services and counseling for women and young children to help them process the trauma of crisis in their home country and the threat of coronavirus.
This work is absolutely essential to mitigating the spread of disease in crisis zones. It's lifesaving, and health workers will stay on the front lines until every mother, child and family are safe and healthy.
Will you take 2 minutes today to say "Thank you" to these 21,000 heroes? I'll be sharing these messages with health workers at the end of the week, so send a card today. »
