Friend, As you may have seen, I was in Philly on Tuesday as a surrogate for Kamala Harris at the debate. I knew she was going to crush it -- and she really crushed it.
The difference between the two candidates on stage was striking. Kamala was presidential. Donald Trump was, in the Vice President's own words, "weak and wrong." Kamala laid out a new way forward for Americans, with concrete plans to reduce housing costs, help small businesses, and uplift the middle class. Trump repeated crazy conspiracy theories, told lies, and rambled incoherently. As she has throughout her career, Kamala came out strongly for reproductive rights. Trump again bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade and refused to say he would veto a national abortion ban. At the debate, America got to see the Kamala Harris I've known since I was in the California State Legislature and she was Attorney General. She has a proven record of delivering for families. Now, she's running to be a president for all Americans, and I'm proud to stand alongside her. We are not going back. Ted |
