Friend –
Have you filled out the census yet? If you haven’t, you will likely be getting a census paper questionnaire right to your mailbox.
If you have taken the census in the past, you might have been expecting a paper form sooner. This year, paper forms were delayed in order to push people to respond online. That decision was made for a number of reasons including accessibility and impact on the environment.
If you do prefer to fill out a paper form, don’t fret! Your questionnaire will come in an official US Census Bureau envelope. Don’t forget, the Census Bureau will never ask you for your social security number, credit card, or bank information.
When you get your form, make sure you fill it out with a black or blue ink pen. When you’re done, you can send it back with the envelope provided by the Bureau. Easy, right? By answering a few simple questions you are helping your community get the resources it needs for the next ten years.
But remember, you don’t need to wait for the paper form! Complete the census online right now to save yourself some time and save a tree from being cut down!
