Port of Tacoma Commission to meet September 17
Port of Tacoma Commissioners on September 17 will consider authorizations related to software upgrades and a proclamation for National Hispanic Heritage Month. Commissioners will also hear a briefing about budget priorities and the capital investment plan. Sentinel tree planting at the Port
On Port of Tacoma property, just off State Route 509, there’s a newly planted stand of trees and shrubs. It includes pine, oak, and crabapple -- a dozen species in all. For the 37th consecutive year, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) honored the Port of Tacoma for excellence in financial reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report through December 31, 2023 [ [link removed] ].
