A new global day of giving

Support Polaris

Dear John,

I want to share a special opportunity with you. Next Tuesday, May 5, is #GivingTuesdayNow, a new global day of giving to unite people around the world. In a time of social distancing, this is a special day to remind us that we remain connected, even when we're apart.

I'm asking you, if you're able, to make a gift on #GivingTuesdayNow. We hope to raise $20,000. Your gift helps victims and survivors who contact the U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline get connected to life-saving services and support.

If you've already given this year - thank you! If you're in a position to chip in a little more, please do so - you can even bookmark our donation link today.

Together we give.

Due to COVID-19, Polaris anticipates a $1.3m decline in revenue this year. While we're reducing our expenses to align with fewer resources, please help us ensure we can continue to serve at-risk people.

Human trafficking has never been more relevant. Poor economic conditions like what we're experiencing right now make for a ripe environment for trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. Polaris continues to respond to the needs of victims and survivors of sex and labor trafficking, but we need your help.

Thank you for caring about at-risk people who rely on social safety nets like the Trafficking Hotline, for recognizing we must change the systems that allow trafficking to flourish, and for participating in #GivingTuesdayNow.

Be well,

Emily K. Tracy
Chief Development Officer

P.S. If you're unable to make a donation, you can still participate in Giving Tuesday Now by launching a DIY Fundraiser and asking your friends and family to contribute!
