John,
There’s been a lot of analysis about what it will mean for our country if Donald Trump gets a second term in the Oval Office, this time with Project 2025 as his blueprint.
The stakes are particularly high for the LGBTQ+ community. Project 2025 targets federal policies that promote equality for the LGBTQ+ community — threatening the health and safety of LGBTQ+ individuals across the country.
And you’re here because you understand Donald Trump is not the only risk. Republicans have already been implementing Project 2025’s anti-democracy, anti-freedom agenda with extreme state-level legislation — including policies that attack the LGBTQ+ community.
According to the ACLU, there have been 530 bills targeting LGBTQ+ rights in 2024 alone — but more than 75% of Americans actually support laws that protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination! Gerrymandered maps allow far-right politicians to pursue extreme agendas against the will of the people.
Will you make a donation right now to support pro-democracy leaders who will fight to protect fundamental rights all across the country, and push back against map manipulation? [[link removed]]

In New Hampshire, one of our 2024 priority states, the state legislature passed and the Governor has signed three discriminatory and harmful anti-LGBTQ+ bills into law in this year alone. ACLU-NH describes one of them (HB 1205) as a law that, “categorically bans all transgender girls in grades 5-12 from participating in school sports.”
And in Ohio, where we have endorsed three Supreme Court candidates, the Republican-controlled legislature passed HB68, which bans gender-affirming medical care for transgender youth and transgender women and girls from participating in sports. The bill was actually initially vetoed by the Republican Governor, but the legislature overruled that veto. After several months of even more battles in court, the bill is now law in Ohio.
Protecting our freedoms is an ongoing battle — and our work will need to continue whether or not Donald Trump is elected.
Will you make a $30 donation right now to help stop gerrymandering that enables far-right radicals, and help elect pro-democracy leaders who will stand up for our fundamental rights? [[link removed]]
