So, let me get this straight:
During Tuesday night’s debate, when Trump was asked whether or not he would veto a national abortion ban, he refused to give a direct yes or no answer.
When moderators clarified that his running mate, JD Vance, has already stated he would veto a national abortion ban, Trump says that he hasn’t spoken to him about it.
Really? You haven’t spoken to your VP pick about abortion policy? If we were to be generous, that could mean they’re not taking this critical issue seriously enough to have a concept of a plan for it yet.
But we know what’s really going on: They are just trying to avoid admitting their extreme anti-abortion stance to voters, because they know the majority of Americans support abortion rights.
We are not stupid. Republicans want a national abortion ban.
I’ve got more than a concept of a plan to protect abortion rights: Elect Kamala Harris, keep these men out of the White House, and maintain our Senate majority so we can pass national abortion protections. But this race is close, and we need your support to make this plan possible. Will you split a donation of $28 between Harris for President and our campaign to make sure we can stop a national abortion ban? |
