<[link removed]>Friend,

I’m afraid I’m not finished sharing debate highlights with you. This one deserved an email of its own.

Yesterday, anti-war activist Michael Prysner posted a question on X that frankly a lot of us were asking:

<[link removed]>Sadly, Michael, you were not dreaming.

In fact, Harris spent the first half of the debate reminding all of us just how much she loves fracking and fossil fuel extraction:

<[link removed]>But she really gave the game away when the moderators specifically asked her about her plan to address the climate emergency (the only question about this crisis during the entire debate, we should note).

<[link removed]>The vice president is not wrong. In fact the Biden-Harris administration HAS set historic records for fossil fuel extraction, all while boasting that they passed the largest climate bill in history.

The real-world result of these destructive policies are not cheap shots fired at political opponents or snappy TV ads. It’s this.

That’s a wildfire currently ravaging the hills beyond Los Angeles, spanning 13,000 acres and threatening thousands of homes and businesses.

Harris attacked Donald Trump on Tuesday night for believing that climate change is a hoax, yet she continues to pursue the policies that are making it worse. What else can we say to that but “What the frack?!”

If you want a president with a clear, decades-long record confronting climate change, then please contribute to our campaign today. We’re still battling Democrats suing to kick us off the ballot so that we can guarantee every American has the opportunity to vote for the only pro-planet, pro-peace, pro-worker campaign in this race, and we need your help. <[link removed]>

<[link removed]>DONATE NOW <[link removed]>The consequences of Harris’ climate annihilation will only continue to grow, threatening our livelihoods, wiping out our shelter and food supply and – sooner than you may think – our survival as a species.

What we saw on Tuesday were two candidates striving to outbid the other’s promises to push us towards a new world war and accelerate the climate emergency.

We deserve better. In fact, our survival demands that we make better choices at the ballot box.

In solidarity,

Jill
