Road to Recovery
Ahead of Hurricane Francine making landfall, a federal emergency declaration was granted at the request of Governor Landry and at my urging alongside our whole Congressional delegation. Hurricane Francine made landfall as a Category 2 hurricane in Terrebonne Parish, other parishes including Jefferson, Orleans, Lafourche, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, Tangipahoa, and Plaquemines are facing impacts of street and localized flooding. If you have experienced damages due to Hurricane Francine, it is important to report your losses at https://damage.la.gov as local, state and federal assessments are made.
