Help us celebrate the end of summer at our outdoor event!
Fly casting

The shift from summer into fall is the perfect time to embrace the outdoors. Join us at our upcoming End of Summer Outdoor Extravaganza to learn from expert instructors and experience a day full outdoor skill-building, delicious food, fun activities, and community.  Different stations will be set up to help you gain some hands-on experience. Activities include spin cast fishing, fly casting, campfire cooking, wildlife ID, fish ID, door prizes, and more! All gear and equipment will be provided! Folks of all identities and skill levels are welcome! Join us to learn from top-notch instructors and hands-on experiences. We'll provide all the gear you need for each workshop, but anyone 16 and older will need at least a one day license [ [link removed] ] to participate in fishing activities. There is no fee to register for the event, however, as you enter the State Park entrance fee will be collected at the gate: Maine residents: Adults 12+ are $6.00, Under 5 and over 65 are free, Ages 6-11 are $1.00; Non-Residents: Adults 12+ are $8.00, Under 5 are free, 6-11 are $1.00 and over 65 is $2.00.
