It’s your friendly neighborhood progressive mom here, juggling work, kids, and the ever-daunting task of fighting for a better world. As I was cleaning yogurt off the ceiling (don’t ask), I had a thought: what kind of future am I really building for my kids? For your kids? For *all* of us?

Here’s the deal—progressive policies aren’t just some buzzwordy ideas. They’re about giving families like mine, and yours, a shot at stability in a world where one flat tire could mean financial doom. And it’s not just families like mine that benefit; these policies help everyone across the board.

Take universal healthcare. The United States is still scratching its head on that one, but meanwhile, our friends across the pond in countries like Norway and the UK have had it for years. It’s like they’ve figured out that maybe, just maybe, people shouldn’t go into debt because they had the audacity to break a bone.

Let’s talk childcare—because we all know this one’s close to my heart. Sweden’s got universal childcare that costs families next to nothing. Over there, parents get to work *and* afford dinner. Imagine that!

Then there’s universal basic income—Finland took it for a test drive and saw that people actually had more time to breathe, think, and grow without the constant panic of how they were going to make rent. Funny how that works, huh?

We’ve seen the magic these policies work, and it’s high time we push for them right here at home. The truth is, when we address inequities in healthcare, childcare, wages, and education, we uplift *everyone.* It’s like cleaning out the whole house instead of just sweeping dirt under the rug—you get a better result (and fewer messes to trip over later).

So, here’s where you come in: we need to move the needle forward. This year, voting is **everything**. Sure, the candidates aren’t perfect, but when have they ever been? What matters is electing folks who *will* push for progressive policies, who’ll stand up for working families, and who won’t just pander to the wealthiest donors.

Here’s what you can do:
