TDI issues initial order and notice of hearing on TWIA's maximum liability limits

TDI has issued an initial order on TWIA's maximum liability limits. The proposed adjustments would apply to windstorm and hail insurance policies delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed on or after January 1, 2025. The proposed adjustments don't affect TWIA rates.

As required by statute, a hearing and final order will follow this initial order.

* The hearing is at 2 p.m. Central time, Sept. 30, 2024. Visit the TDI website for the notice of hearing [ [link removed] ].
* Submit written comments to [email protected] by 5 p.m. Central time, Sept. 30, 2024.
