Friend, this is what was left of my armored vehicle after I ran over a
roadside bomb while serving in Afghanistan.



With one explosion, the Taliban managed to turn a $200,000 military-grade
vehicle into a pile of rubble.



The vehicle wasn't the only thing caught in that explosion. The injuries I
sustained would take three years and 30 surgeries to fully recover from.



But through it all, I learned an important lesson:

Those terrorists can blow up my vehicle, they can burn my skin, but they will
NEVER destroy my resolve.



That's why I'm running for the U.S. Senate.
