President's Message This week, the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) hosted representatives from 26 leading national nurses organizations, including NASN, to discuss the critical importance of addressing extreme heat and plan for future actions. Organized and led by the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, this event aimed to discuss strategies that the 5 million nurses in the US can implement to address the climate crisis and help communities across the country become more resilient to climate impacts such as extreme heat.
