Paralympics gold medalist returning to Missouri River Outdoor Expo
On Sept. 1, para athlete Matt Stutzman won gold in the men's Para Archery Individual Compound Open in Paris. And soon, guests at the Missouri River Outdoor Expo, the largest outdoor expo in the Midwest, will get to see his skills on display.
Stutzman will return to the event, hosted at Ponca State Park Sept. 21-22, to put on a display of pistol shooting and precision archery.
The expo will also feature more than 100 outdoor activities for guests, including wildlife encounters, fishing, kayaking, archery and more.

Fishing events planned at Fort Robinson State Park
A fun weekend is planned for anyone ready to enjoy fishing opportunities at Fort Robinson State Park, which has been called Nebraska's Fishing State Park. The activities Sept. 28-29 include a fly-fishing and fly-tying workshop, youth fishing instructor training and a community fishing event.

Work begins on Lake Maloney angler access project
Anglers will soon have increased access to fishing at Lake Maloney, a reservoir south of North Platte. Nebraska Game and Parks is working to increase angler access along the lake inlet, adding a retaining wall, concrete path and wooden fishing pier.

Elvis Dinner Theatre planned at Mahoney State Park
Enjoy dinner and a show at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. The park's restaurant, Carl's, will host an Elvis Dinner Theatre on Sept. 21. Admission includes a show, Memphis barbecue buffet, salad bar, dessert and more. Get ready for a fun evening of entertainment and great food with friends or family.
