Hi John, Earlier this month, UNITE HERE Local 2 union workers authorized a strike at several major San Francisco hotels, including Marriott Marquis, our planned conference venue. The union has expressed concerns about necessary pay raises, better workloads, and protections for work associated with providing guest services and amenities. In solidarity with the workers, we are moving the location for the 45th Annual NPH Affordable Housing Conference, happening Friday, October 4th. 👉 The new conference venue will be the Moscone Center South, 747 Howard St. San Francisco, which is conveniently located just a couple blocks from the original location. |
