It’s certainly been a jam-packed week, Friend – here’s what you need to know:
“‘We’re all sitting ducks’ without more substantial gun control, Warnock says” -The Guardian
- Since the most recent mass shooting in Georgia last week, J.D. Vance and Trump have shown they will continue to prioritize the gun lobby’s money over lives. Young people want gun reform laws, but their lives and the lives of others will continue to be at risk until passing comprehensive gun control laws become a priority.

“Trump says he is ‘less inclined’ to go head to head with Harris again but claims he won debate ‘by a lot’”
-The Guardian
- Trump spewed lies and made racist and sexist attacks against Kamala during Tuesday’s debate. His hateful rhetoric is dangerous, and if he were to be elected President again, there’s no telling what he would do. Donald Trump made it clear that the only policy he cares about are ones that will only help himself.

As we head into the final stretch of the election, VP Kamala Harris made it clear to voters that she is making her own way to the future.
|
VP Harris had something to say, and we know youth voices are demanding to be heard.
|
Lastly, Future Coalition is proud to work with Maine Youth Power, a Future Incubator fiscal polling project. This organization is working to turn out young Maine voters in rural areas year-round.

Thank you for being a strong supporter of Future Coalition, Friend!
The historic youth voter turnout of 2020 and 2022 has proven that young people hold power in shaping our political future. Now, our intergenerational team is working 24/7 to amplify youth impact and mobilize record numbers of youth political participation in November.
