Friend, one of my favorite fall traditions is getting the family together to make our annual batch of applesauce with my mother’s recipe – and this year is no different!

Ohio farmers grow some of the best produce in the country, so it's always a treat to visit them, hear how the crop's doing, and pick up some fresh produce. This year we're trying Zestar!® apples!

I've always been proud to support our farmers and rural communities, whether it's working across the aisle to pass the Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act or expanding the Farm to School Initiative to connect Ohio farmers with our local school lunchrooms.

I've spent my career fighting for the Dignity of Work and the good folks of Ohio – including the 1 in 7 Ohioans who depend on agriculture for their livelihoods – because I believe that when you love this country, you fight for the people who make it work.

But my self-funding, MAGA opponent can't say the same. He’s backing terrible pieces of Trump and Vance’s Project 2025, which would cut crop insurance subsidies our farmers rely on. He'll side with billionaires and special interests every chance he gets.

We can't let someone like that anywhere near the Senate. So in this final stretch, I'm asking you to join me in this fight.
