Folks, I know a thing or two about tight races.

When I ran in 2018, extremists ran race-baiting ads and tried to paint me as a threat to my own community, just because I happened to be a Hip Hop artist at one point in my life.

It was a tough race, and many doubted my ability to win. But in the end, by leading with love, showing up everywhere, and listening with an open mind and a caring heart, we flipped that seat blue.

I’ve come a long way since then, but that race taught me so much about the power of democracy and the human spirit. It reaffirmed that people are capable of looking beyond their differences and finding common ground.

That’s why I founded VOICE PAC. I know that if we invest in the right candidates, we can win in districts that were written off – races that people thought were “too red” to win.

Everything is on the line this November, from preserving crucial social programs like Social Security and Medicare to defending abortion rights in all fifty states.

And with only 4 seats standing between us and a Democratic House Majority, we can’t afford to lose anywhere – especially not here in New York.

But extremists will do (and spend) whatever it takes to protect their majority. They know that they can’t win with the truth, and they’ll lie to the American people if they have to – just like they did when I ran back in ‘18.

But my track record shows that when we fight hard – we win. If we give good candidates the resources they need, we can defeat extremist Republicans across the country and reclaim a Democratic House Majority!
