On Tuesday night I watched Kamala Harris perform on the debate stage with dignity, power, and intellect. Her mastery of both the issues and her opponent made it absolutely clear that she is extraordinarily ready to lead our country into a better future as the next President of the United States.

At the same time, Donald Trump demonstrated to the American people and the world that he is a demented, dishonest, and dangerous man who should never be allowed near the White House or the nuclear codes.

The contrast between the two candidates was absolute: a rational, strong, values-based leader versus an irrational, disturbing dictator want-to-be.

But let’s be clear, Kamala Harris is doing her job – a great job – as Vice President and as our Democratic nominee for President. Now, it is time for us to do our job by getting out the vote and helping Democrats win on November 5th. Let’s get to work and elect Kamala and my dear friend, Tim Walz, to the White House!

For Kamala Harris to win the election and get sworn-in, we must protect the outcome of the election. That means electing a Democratic majority to the U.S. House – a House majority that on January 6, 2025 will certify the legitimate winner of the Presidential Election. Only a Democratic majority in the U.S. House can stop the inevitable MAGA efforts to once again use fraud, deceit, and possibly violence (we’ve seen this before) to try steal a free and fair election to install Trump in the White House.  Democrats must win and we will defend our democracy!

Over the next 54 days, Trump and his allies will flood Minnesota with attack ads, misinformation, and outright lies. Every vote counts, and we cannot afford to take anything for granted.

We need you in this fight. Rally with us behind Vice President Harris, Gov. Walz, and House Democrats to keep Minnesota blue and stop Trump.
