Welcome to another edition with more news, events and what's on in Nottingham. Thank You to all for attending the Nottingham Mela 2024 in the Park and making it a hugs success. Special Thanks to all the Staff at NAAC & NCC Museums & Galleries; tutors, parents and students from the NAAC Music & Dance Academy; Volunteers who helped set up and worked tirelessly throughout the day; Stall holders for the lovely bazaar and food; Gemini Sounds Indi, Anil and All the Artists who performed at the Nottingham Mela...All the artists were of very high calibre and kept the crowds entertained throughout the day!

NAAC Music & Dance Academy
Please advertise our ongoing NAAC Music & Dance Academy classes held every Wednesday from 5:30pm-8:00pm at Radford Academy. Please register your interest if you want to learn how to sing; play tabla, dhol, sitar, harmonium, flute, keyboard; Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Bhangra, Folk or Bollywood Dance!
Our Music & Dance Academy students are given the opportunity to participate at loads of local events organised by NAAC and other organisations...so come along and be that budding star!?
We are also pleased to announce that our new Bharatnatyam tutor Aparna has started with us and our Bhangra tutor Shera is taking the classes on Wednesday...so hope to see all our old and new students at the Academy.
NAAC is looking for sponsorships/donations in order to carry on with the running of our Music and Dance classes. If you can or know of any businesses/individuals who can help us, then please get in touch with NAAC.?

Ganesh Festival 2024
Once again, Ganesh ji is coming to Nottingham during GANESHOTSAV.
The Sthapna (9am on 7th Sept) and everyday Aarti (7am and 8pm) is performed at ?Bhagwati Shakti Peeth Temple Nottingham NG7 7DY? followed by Prasad/Dinner every evening.
The big day ?VISARJAN? ceremony is performed at Wollaton Park with lots of music and fun for all ages.
Special Marathi Dhol players will also grace the occasion during the full procession from the Courtyard to the lake, followed by Food/Prasad.
Entry is on a first come first served basis in line with venue capacity, hence tickets must be booked in advance. ?1.10 per ticket (includes booking fee).
