forecaster Nate Silver has a serious warning for us:
“Polling analyst Nate Silver is warning supporters of Vice President
Kamala Harris that her well-received debate performance against former
President Donald Trump could be quickly followed by disappointing poll
results.”
First, Silver gave Trump a 64% chance of winning in November.

Nate Silver correctly predicted Trump’s win in 2016, even when Trump was
down in the polls.
Stories from our organizers in PA, MI, WI and other swing states make
Silver’s election forecast and post-debate warnings even more alarming. A
drive through the Philadelphia suburbs is turning up a bunch of Trump
signs. Trump billboards and homemade signs are popping up all over the
Midwest — the places Harris needs to win by significant margins in order
to defeat Trump.
VP Harris is still the clear underdog. While she may win the popular vote,
the Electoral College will decide the presidency. The electoral college is
biased to help Republicans — and polls underestimated Trump in both 2016
and 2020.
Swing state voters are getting pummeled with Trump ads aimed to scare
people about crime and immigration — scare them enough to stay home or
vote for Trump.
Our Revolution has been mobilizing voters against corporate-backed,
fear-mongering campaigns since Bernie’s run in 2016. Our ability to turn
out millions of voters in the battleground states WILL make the difference
in the election — especially with election forecasts so heavily favoring
