Dear John,

June 6, 2024 marked the 80th anniversary of D-Day. But the invasion of Europe could have happened a day earlier or been delayed by weeks, if not for a convergence of optimal circumstances that were necessary to increase the odds of success, including a full moon, low winds, good visibility from the air, relatively calm seas, and a rising tide for the landing itself.

The weather was bad on June 5th, and the invasion was called off, but twenty-four hours later, the weather report shifted, a window of opportunity appeared, and Supreme Commander Eisenhower made the decision to proceed. With that, the invasion was launched, and history was made.

What is facing us in November is not nearly of the same consequence, but it is by no means unimportant. The radical left’s trifecta in the Minnesota state government has been devastating for the unborn, children, women, and people of faith.

But not unlike June 1944, we’re looking for the right conditions to make our move … and I believe those conditions are here.

And just like the Allies put everything they had into the effort – over 150,000 troops and over 7,000 naval vessels – we are bringing all the resources we can muster to this election.

Just how much we’ll have depends on you, which is why I’m asking for your urgent support. We have a plan, but can only implement it completely if we have sufficient funds.

If you believe the battle is worth fighting leading up to Election Day, and you believe in Minnesota Family Council as your advocate in St. Paul – and across Minnesota – for the values we share, I ask you to prayerfully consider a gift of $25, $50, $100 or even more, before the end of the month, when it will do the most good.

This election is one of the most consequential in our state’s history – and desperately-needed change is absolutely possible for our state because the Minnesota House is up for grabs, and – thanks to a special election – so is the state Senate. If we can flip one or both, we can end the damaging trifecta the DFL has used to make Minnesota the darling of far-left extremists and earn our governor a Vice Presidential nomination.

In the Minnesota House progressives hold a 70-64 majority right now, but all 134 seats are up for election. If we can flip just four seats to pro-life candidates, we can create a pro-life xxxxxx in Minnesota.

Ending the trifecta isn’t about climbing a huge mountain, but rather a few small hills.

Making this happen will require organization and resources – money and boots on the ground. The far left won in 2022, but they outspent conservatives about 5 to 1. They did that because they could, and because they had to, because it costs more money to sell lies than to speak the truth.

Imagine the power of that money in service to the truth! We can do more with less because our ideas are good and time-tested. That said, we’d rather not get outspent by a factor of five this time. Your support will help prevent that!

Even though Minnesota Senate seats aren’t up in this election cycle, one seat will, in fact, be on the ballot, and flipping just one is all that’s needed since the left holds a 34-33 edge.

Many voters turn up at the polls only when the presidency is on the ballot, and there are enough of them to swing all the down-ballot battles. 3.3 million voters cast a presidential ballot in Minnesota in 2020, but only 2.5 million voted in the gubernatorial race in 2022.  It’s critical that we reach these “low propensity voters."

We’re going to have record turnout in a year when control of the legislature hangs in the balance and there’s growing public frustration with the reigning powers. The conditions are right to make our move, and we will be playing a critical role. Will you rush a gift of $25, $50, $100 or even more in time for it to be effective in this election battle? Or, keep reading, and let me tell you more about our plan to WIN.

One of our first moves was to hire an Elections Associate to focus on get-out-the-vote efforts. He started in July and is coordinating the largest door-knocking campaign we’ve ever done, as part of a comprehensive campaign that targets the biggest swing districts across the state.

A critical part of that campaign is reaching out to voters who will be mailing in their ballots. 673,000 Minnesotans voted absentee in 2022. That was more than a quarter of all ballots. And we expect that percentage to rise in 2024.

Here's where you come in. I hope you agree that this is a truly critical election for the future of our country and our state. I hope you understand what’s at stake for our state legislature, with control of both chambers hanging in the balance. Finally, I hope you have hope.

Change is possible. Victory is possible. But it will take all of us, doing our part. That means voting in elections and more. It means talking to your friends, family members and neighbors, even when those conversations may be uncomfortable. It means supporting candidates who share our values. I hope that it also means contributing to MFC to help us reach and mobilize the low-propensity voters mentioned above.

We are your voice across Minnesota and I promise you that we will work hard to steward your gift well, and put it into action in the most strategic way possible to help shape the future of our state.

With that in mind, please prayerfully consider a gift of $25, $50, $100 or even more, as the Lord leads, to fund our election efforts and build up this ministry so that we’re prepared to take advantage of the optimal circumstances and for whatever future the Lord has for us. Thank you!
