Hi, friend, I'm excited to write to you after an amazing time traveling up and down Florida!

I’ve been meeting with folks across the state to see where voters' heads are at, and here’s what I’ve learned: The tide is turning in Florida, and we’re ready to flip this Senate seat blue.

But I’m not just hearing it from people on the ground, friend. A new poll from Florida Atlantic University shows me neck and neck with my extremist Republican opponent, Rick Scott. 

It’s clear that Floridians do NOT share his extremist views about abortion rights, health care, and government programs. They don’t support him now, and they didn’t really support him in 2018 when he only won by 0.12% — and that’s only because he spent $64 MILLION of his own money to BUY this seat. 

We can't let him buy his way into power again, friend. Can I count on you to chip in $5 right now to help me hit my $150,000 goal before my midnight deadline?

Now that he’s moving in complete lockstep with Donald Trump —  from supporting Trump's baseless voter fraud claims to promoting his dangerous agenda at the Republican National Convention — Floridians are completely fed up with Rick Scott. And I am too, friend. 

So here's the good news: I've got what it takes to win this. I've spent my career serving this state and getting to know the families who call it home, which is how I know we need to restore abortion rights, protect Social Security and Medicare, and expand affordable health care.

But I can’t do it alone, friend. I'm counting on your help to fight back against the GOP's millions and win this race to protect Florida and our Senate majority from right-wing extremism.
