Sorry to email you so late, but I wanted to make sure you saw this update:
Two back-to-back polls show me locked in a statistical tie with my right-wing opponent.
Wisconsin was the closest Senate race that Emerson College polled at the end of August. And earlier today, Marquette University Law School released their latest polling which also shows me statistically tied with Eric Hovde.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that Wisconsin is the race that could decide control of the Senate. It’s one of the most competitive — and expensive — elections in the nation, and it’s no secret as to why:
My opponent has spent tens of millions of dollars to flip my seat red. He was handpicked by Mitch McConnell to run against me because of his ability to self-fund his campaign, and he hasn’t let Republicans down.
Eric Hovde has already cut himself $13 million worth of checks and continues to flood Wisconsin’s airwaves with misleading ads.
As the polls grow tighter, Hovde could gain even more momentum — unless we respond with more ads and voter outreach of our own.
But to tell you the truth, campaign ads are the most expensive item in our budget, so I’m counting on your support today.
Will you rush a donation to help us win Wisconsin’s battleground Senate race?
