We watched Vice President Kamala Harris meet and debate with Donald Trump for the very first time last night, and it was… something.
Witnessing Trump incoherently lash out and outright lie about problems that aren’t real (post-birth executions, gender reassignment surgeries in schools and prisons, racist and absurd claims that immigrants are coming to eat people’s pets) was frankly alarming for someone who could be in the White House come January.
This election shouldn’t even be close.
But while Trump has no fidelity to the truth nor an ounce of thought or care about us and we — only I and me — a sharp, thoughtful, compassionate, and PRESIDENTIAL Kamala Harris completely exposed and pummeled her small, thin-skinned opponent.
America deserves so much better than Donald Trump, who has no plan to help working families or our communities (as he said himself, only “concepts of a plan”). We deserve a true leader like VP Harris who will fight for each and every one of us, bring dignity to our democracy, and lead our country forward instead of dragging us back.

In case it wasn’t already clear, last night’s debate cemented the fact that we must keep Trump as far away from the White House as possible. It shouldn’t be a close race, but it is — and that means we need as much grassroots support we can get to do the work, get out the vote, and help Harris win on Tuesday, November 5th.
Our children, our democracy, and our future depend on it.
