If you’re like me, you were a little nervous about the debate last night. I know how smart, tough, and compassionate Kamala Harris is, but with the stakes so high, I was just nervous. I didn’t need to be!

Within hours of President Biden ending his campaign, I enthusiastically endorsed Kamala Harris. After watching the debate last night, it is crystal clear to me that only one candidate is committed to representing and caring for all Americans. Only one candidate is invested in and prepared to protect our nation, our institutions, and our values. Kamala Harris is the best and really the only choice to lead us as we embark on the next 250 years as a nation.

In last night's debate, we saw how dangerous a Trump presidency without guardrails would be. He's still telling lies, pushing debunked conspiracy theories, seeking the flattery and approval of dictators, selling out our allies, and selling out women – all in the service of his ego.

It is our duty to elect Kamala Harris. But that's not all: In a state like Pennsylvania, we need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot to take on the rising tide of far-right extremism.

That's because we don't live in a red or blue state. We live in a purple state, and I'm proud to be the first Democrat representing this area since before the Civil War.

But in this purple state, we can't afford to take anything for granted, and the stakes of this race are simply too high to sit this election out. That's why I'm counting on your help today:

Will you split a donation between my campaign and Kamala Harris' to protect my seat from the GOP, defeat Donald Trump, and get us both back to work on the issues that matter most to you?
