What we saw last night was a former president, Donald Trump, who has become unmoored from reality.

He once again denied he lost the election in 2020. He spouted right-wing conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory. He made it clear that four more years would be complete chaos. And he lied. Repeatedly.

And then we saw our next president, Kamala Harris, speak directly to the American people about the issues important to them.

Democrats, Kamala Harris won that debate. But debates don't win elections. What this debate did do was crystalize the stakes and make clear we can't leave the outcome to chance.

We know you may not have woken up thinking you were going to make a donation to the Democratic Party today, but if you understand we all have a role in shaping the outcome of this election, that's what we're asking you to do:
