Donald Trump rambled angrily about dog-eating immigrants, Hunter Biden conspiracies, executed newborns, and crowd sizes. He lied, attacked, interrupted, and portrayed a dark view of an America divided and hopeless.
The two could not have been more different.
And the stark contrast only reminded us of the stakes. If we want to move past the age of Trump where truth is subjective, racism and sexism are used to belittle those with differing views, and only blind loyalists are rewarded with the promises of America -- then we need to act right now.
