Today, we remember the thousands of loved ones, friends, and co-workers our country lost 23 years ago in the devastating terror attacks on September 11, 2001. I’m thinking of the families of the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, and the heroic first responders who demonstrated remarkable courage that day. On this tragic anniversary, we come together to mourn the lives of those lost in 9/11 and honor the legacies of the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the lives of others. We will never forget them. The tragic events that transpired 23 years ago should remind us that, even though things may seem divided, we’re all Americans who love and care about our country. Thank you for taking the time to reflect with me. Janelle |
